I remember in high school, we had a game at the Rosemont Horizon where DePaul played. It had the NBA 3 pt line, and there were college coaches there looking for players to recruit.
I hit a 3 from the NBA line and looked up in the stands at a college coach and yelled "I'm hitting NBA threes. Where's my 'ship?"
My coach benched me the rest of the game. I finished with 3 pts, 4 turnovers, and 3 fouls

As goofy as both ideas sound a 4 point line would make more sense than that shyt. If people really start practicing half court shots and hitting them in game to where it's not on some fluke shyt I could see them rewarding that skill with an extra point.
