Yeah because we all know the NBA would prefer MIA going on a deep run over NY aka the largest media market.
BTW the change occured 4 whole years after that.

basketball is entertainment full of entertainers....less games means a higher quality product and more meaningful games.
Ain't no upsets on teams missing the playoffs in the NBA...i like 50 games cause you can't take games off because teams may get hott enough to pass you up in the standings.

i love 2-3-2....cause if you got home court you are suppose to be the better team and should he able to win on the road.
Less games are not going to change that, significantly. The reason for teams half-a$$'ing it just because it's all in the culture now. Less games and you would prob just have more players in their prime manipulating what team to play for.
