2 games in October. The season is from Nov-June.
The NHL starts in October and also ends in June.I said over the course of 9 months. Either way its still the longest season out of the 4 sports...u cant tell me the playoffs dont drag

just chill out.
And originally you said 10 months.
I said over the course of 9 months. Either way its still the longest season out of the 4 sports...u cant tell me the playoffs dont drag
then spread the 50 games out over the extra couple months you get now and get higher intensity games
an 8th seed has no chance!...you can't back into the playoffs and catch on fire.
with 50 games you can't tell who is the best team and an 8th seed could do damage....it's entertainment first and sports 2nd. yes, the kiddie that play ball are preparing to be entertainers....eh.

and we have seen key players go down in each of the last two seasons. Hockey is different in that every team has a shot. In the NBA Playoffs you will generally have 4 teams max with a realistic shot at the title. Cut the number of playoff teams down to 12, cut first round back to 5 or even 3 if you really wanna make it interesting, and it would be perfect. You ramp up the regular season intensity, reward teams for doing well in the regular season by offerinng top seeds byes, and you make the playoffs more interesting for the entire time. While you are at it you can start the season in December and run through the summer so that baseball doesn't hold us hostage. And oh yeah there's nothing wrong with back to backs.

They are? Is that some new shyt? As long as I can remember, in Michigan them shyts was always Tuesday and Friday. Maybe back to backs in AAU, but not real high school games.
nikkas is playing back to back games in high school every week![]()

And I do agree with those that Au shorten the 1st rd to 5.
Now that you mention it, there were the lil tourneys around Christmas that would sometimes be 3 days in a row. But even still, looking at that schedule that's definitely more back to backs than I remember.yes throughout the year. and on top of that you might have a a few tournaments throughout the year, and you're going to have to play three or four games in as many days. and they still have to go to class.
here's a random schedule from a school in kansas i just googled.

How? By condensing the schedule or reducing the amount of games?Get rid of them, but shorten the length of the season. The NBA spanning over 10 months is stupid imo..
