Nah,this core has gone as far as it could, truthfully they still dont have a legit 3rd option. The only way you can tweek this roster and stay competitive is coming up off Kyle or Demar....I dont see the use spinning ur wheels in another go around of this two headed snake, when theres more than enough evidence to tell you they wont beat LeBron but they probably wont beat Giannis,PG or any other meddling teams.

This groups track record didnt just start last year or this year....2014 & 2015 still count and are permanent marks.

You sign KL and Ibaka and max out ur money on this group ur looking at a few more years in the playoffs and no contending, you have no room to move up if you sink money into these guys because it still doesnt address ur need for a 3rd scoring option.

I dont believe in re upping in something thats failing, you dont necessarily have to go backwards but you have up root the roster....

@Dirty D if you re up Lowry and ibaka ur not signing on for another year,ur signing on for 3-4 more years :smh:

Far likelier Lowry breaks down before Lebron does...not a good strategy unless you just care about playoff gate receipts.

So you're advocating to let Lowry and Ibaka walk, trade DeRozan at the draft for the best pick possible, and go forward with the youngsters? I worry we end up like Orlando with a bunch of ok young players and scrapping to make the playoffs every year. It's not easy to get players who put you in the playoffs every year.

I'd rather shuffle the guys around Lowry/DeRozan/Ibaka than jettison them.

And get a new coach.

New Coach, move one of Lowry or DeRozan, let Ibaka walk.

theres no value in Ibaka,in this series hes not making shots and hes not a defensive force, hes going to ask for 20+ million per season.

What he brings doesnt warrant that number and its not a good look when you already have Carroll sitting on the bench at 16 per...

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
What's interesting is that they are one of the youngest teams in the league, maybe that has changed with the trade for Tucker but at the start of the year they were among the youngest.

They missed the window on trading Lowry, so it's going to come down to letting him walk for nothing or having to max him out. I could see the Sixers making a max offer on him and the Raptors making a similar offer only for him to leave for Philly because he'll feel slighted (like Horford).

I think they have to re-sign Ibaka, you can't trade for him mid-season and then just lose him 4 months later. I like what Powell has shown, if they're going to trade anyone it would have to be Demar because he'd get the most return because of his age and contract.

I dont quite understand why they HAVE to re-sign Ibaka. They took a gamble on this run and it didnt work.

I dont believe in re upping in a failed mistake at all costs to save face.I still give MU credit for trying but theres nothing ive seen that warrants you paying Serge 22 million a season over 4 years.Theres needs that are better served using that money.

Masai is gonna try to sign Ibaka. We gave up Ross and a first for him, can't let him go for nothing. Might try to flip him soon after like he did Nene in Denver. And he was key in the last series, he has value.

Moving Carroll is #1 on my wish list as far as trading current players.

He doesnt have value at what hes gonna get paid.Im resigned to the fact were stuck with Carroll for the duration of that contract...

Can you imagine being over the cap next year after getting swept in the second round :mjlol::mjlol:

Nah, continue to contend just add better supporting pieces and improve internally as well...

-DeRozan needs to work on his three point shooting, it would really add to his game. Also, he needs to be more engaged on the defensive end.

-Lowry needs to stay in shape and work on his midrange game

-Move Cory Joseph and DeMarre Carroll, I think Delon Wright and Norman Powell are younger and better

-Trade Valanciunas, they thrived when Bismack Biyombo was snatching boards, catching lobs, and defending the rim and P&R

-Acquire VC for nostalgia purposes, and to have a veteran swingman

-Bring back P.J. Tucker, for toughness, defense, and corner threes and try to bring back Serge Ibaka.
