On the one hand no...cause Russy is a top 8 player in the league and you would not get equal value for him...

On the other hand...dude has had 2 knee surgeries in under a year...If he is going into his walk year and they still have not won a title...then yeah i would see what i could get for them

I don't expect russ or durant to sign with OKC after their deal is up though

Durant going off like this is leading to some crazy, deep left field threads.

"How long before we start talking about Scott Brooks as one of the elite coaches in the L?" is next.

This.

Dudes are so caught up in the moment. :smh:

LOL @ thinking Durant can continue to do this full-time.

I think it's more about Reggie Jackson looking like Westbrook lite and Durant elevating his game plus Jeremy lamb emerging as a scorer that all factor in.

Plus the Thunder would benefit greater with a dominant 7 foot center than Westbrook. And they can get whoever they want for him.

Lakers won titles with an average pg so did the bulls:manny:

By the way, didn't I make this same thread just last week?:wtf:

Considering they wont get equal value then they should not even think about trading Russy unless he comes back and the Thunder start to struggle badly or something. And considering how successful they have been the past few seasons i find that unlikely to happen. But at the same time he should see that KD should be the undisputed leader and should take the greater majority of shots for them.

I mean, its good business to CONSIDER it...but really stupid from a basketball standpoint to actually do it...
