Should The US Government Break Up Google, Twitter, and Facebook?

I posted a thread about this video. He says for capitalism's sake (the need for competitive markets) Google, Amazon, Facebook and Apple should be broken up. Pretty compelling.
I disagree about Apple but the rest sure why not. lol

No, that's just a blunt demonstration of their incredible control over the market. If they control 73% of digital advertising dollars then they control a HUGE amount of what everyone sees and hears.

Amazon? Well seeing that Amazon is singlehandedly consuming American retail, that would be understandable. But Facebook, Google, and Twitter are not breaking any antitrust laws. Why would they need to be broken up? They're not THAT dominant. Sounds like propaganda for the ISPs to get some of that revenue from those companies. Net neutrality has ended in case anyone forgot.

Amazon is not even 5% of the total US retail market. They do account for a little under 45% of the ecommerce market though.

i dont know but everytime i realize these are the biggest companies i laugh at what capitalism rewards. what a dumb ass system, no wonder theres no progress. biggest stocks are a search engine., a place to post opinions. a service that lives off slave labor and the post office, smh straight garbage.
