The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
The Lakers are going to have caproom when he's a free agent, and presumably they could have Wiggins, Embiid, Exum or Parker.

That is the free agent market for him, a preferred location where he went to College, he's more than likely going there if they have room.

The fix would certainly be in if that happened (I wouldn't have a problem with it either as long as Boston is guaranteed one of Embiid, Randall, Wiggins, or Parker) because I don't think the Lakers will have one of the 5 worst records.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Stance hasn't changed. Let him walk. Dumb luck and history will show they'll get another one. They ain't gettin shyt for him (or anyone else on that team for that matter), so just ride it out one more year. They're not rebuilding. Flip's in charge. He's incapable of doing it, so there's no point.

I guess Love would hate having to leave $30 mil on the table as a FA instead of trade but I don't really care.

Letting him walk will do more harm long term than help, you can do what the Jazz did with Deron :manny:

Move him when nobody really expects it.

It'd be some combination of the picks from Brooklyn, LA, and Philly (from today's deal)

I doubt he'd give up anything from 2014 draft

Kris Humphries expiring would have to be included, or if Danny pulled off a miracle and got Gerald Wallace the fukk outta here

With Avery Bradley about to become a restricted free agent, I could see Danny possibly moving him because Avery seems to want more than the Celtics value him at (they offered 4 years 24 million, Avery wants at least 8 million per season...

Sullinger might be Kevin Love 2.0 the way he has shown he can play

I'm blah on Olynik at the moment, he had a decent stretch where he was playing well but he's been irrelevant for at least a month now.

Jeff Green? Most frustrating player on the team by far, crazy talent, just can't seem to stay aggressive all game. He should be demanding the ball, and instead Avery has taken over as main offensive weapon.

I think you underestimate how much Ainge probably likes Love, he'd give up the 2014 pick if it's not Embiid/Wiggins/Parker, he gave up Jeff Green for a 32 year old Ray Allen. Love is only 25, it would take the 2014 Pick and then some to get him.

It's sad that Love didn't get the deal he deserved because they wanted the 5 year contract for Rubio instead, and Rubio has not gotten any better since his first day in the league. He has not been good this year.

Love deserves better than this.
He really doesn't. Don't cry over that dude. He doesn't warrant your sympathy.

No doubt that he'd go there under those circumstances but there is a bit of luck involved with that. It's uncertain the Lakers would get a pick that high and if they don't would they be willing to drop max dollars on Love if they draft someone like Aaron Gordon/Smart/or any of the second tier lottery picks.

For me it's more on the Timberswolves, what deals are out there? Eric Gordon maybe(lockin yourself into the treadmill)? Do you make a deal for expiring contracts, picks, and shyt? Can't see them rebuilding with Adelman. Your probably better off with a trade exception and some picks in a sign and trade.

The Lakers want Love regardless of who they draft, every move in regards to their salary cap has been with his free agency summer in mind.

Ask me if I give a fukk :manny:

Flip is GM. You think I believe he's remotely capable of rebuilding this? fukk no. On top of that, he purchased stake in the team AND Doogie thinks he may replace Adelman as coach (this I don't have a problem with had he not been a GM). He's gonna wind up being a mini-Jerruh when it's all said and done. He's not gonna fire himself.

Let him walk. Let them burn. I heard Seattle's looking for a team. I actually find it funny that teams are plotting for him years ahead of time (at least Lakers stans also plan on signing 2 or 3 guys better than him too so there's that)

What I would do -

I'd wait until the deadline and hit up the Celtics, by that time there would be no shot of them making the playoffs. I'd demand the 2014 Cs pick, 2014 Sixers pick, 2017 Nets pick, Sullinger & Bradley.

I'd also move Kevin Martin & Rubio :manny: End up with two lottery picks this year, a 2017 pick that will no doubt be high lottery.

You're probably right. Danny would probably fight to include it, but he'd probably end up pulling the trigger if he needed to. I'm being a homer and don't want to see them give u Sully or a 2014 draft pick (unless it was protected to be the worst of the two (or possibly three) picks.

I also agree that they need to do it like the Deron deal, make the decision to move it, quietly get an idea of the offers you could get for him and do the deal within like a 2 day span. It also needs to be by this deadline IMO, because if not, they'll be in a situation like NY is for Melo where they can't get anywhere near his value because of his impending free agency and unpredictability.

I'd definitely expect Boston to be at the top of the bidding for Love if he became available either way

I would fight with everything I had to keep the 2014 Celtics pick if that were the deal.

Damn I ain't no they was after him like that. I dunno maybe I'm not respecting Love's impact on the game but I didn't really expect teams outside of Minny to be checkin for him like that.

You think he's worth max dollars?

Yes, he's that good. But he needs to have a particular kind of center next to him for the team to be successful.

If Love were available Boston will be on the phone first, no way Ainge is going to let a player like him pass without inquiring about him. I think they have the assets to get him and still build a competitive team that might get him to stay, plus Boston as a whole would go wild for a white dude that puts up his numbers.

If you built a team around him properly I think he's worth a max contract if you're looking at what other players earn.

He needs a 3 and 5 that can defend to make up for his lack of interior D & shotblocking. The Lakers want this dude, I'd say he's their number 1 realistic target since I think they realize Bron aint going there.
