The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
I love the Celts and am a fan of Sullinger, but no. No chance at all.

And honestly, I think Olynik is garbage. SUmmer league validated what he did at the college level, not what he could do at the pro level. He could prove me wrong and its early in his career, but I dont think hes going to amount to much.

he's a undersized big with a knack for rebounding and can shoot threes. Sullinger has the potential to be really good.

As far as Olynik I think he'll be okay. They usually don't miss with draft picks, and Olynik was their target on draft day, they were determined to walk away with him.

Yeah they should. It's pretty obvious he's got his eyes elsewhere and frankly it's silly to be paying a guy max money and going through the "will he or won't he" shyt when you aren't even making the playoffs. He's got value so they should be proactive and not wait until they are backed into a corner.

On draft express, they have very similar heights and Sullinger actually has a better wingspan (both pre-draft). Love has 4 more inches in a max vert, is faster, more agile and bench pressed double what Sullinger did. Sullinger isnt a bad rebounder, but Love is probably the best rebounder in the game (arguable with Dwight I suppose). Love is by far the better shooter as well, passer and has about half the fouls per game. Sullinger is shooting around 28% from 3 this year, so it may be a stretch to say he "can shoot threes" in the same vein as Love, who is shooting 38% from 3.

I guess they are somewhat comparable, but I think they are both playing near their ceilings right now, and Love is substantially better. He's a max player, and I wouldnt give Sullinger more than 6-8 mil a year to be honest.

Ainge has a solid history with draft picks, but he has missed in the past. I don't see Olynik fitting well in a lineup with Sullinger either, nor do I ever see him being a starter on a great team.

:comeon:

Their last 4 1st round picks before Olynik that they didn't trade on draft night are JR Giddens, Avery Bradley, Jared Sullinger and Fab Melo. That's 50% since 2008. And if you want to include 2nd rounders, you've got Kris Joseph, E'Twaun Moore, Luke Harangody, Lester Hudson and Semih Erden. Not a lot of great or even good players in that group other than Bradley and Sullinger.

I gave up on the team after the Kevim Love FT game but I don't think you can trade him. Unless someone really overpays, we would be getting 14 cents on the dollar. Nobody is trading a kevin love level player for Kevin Love. Best case scenario would be another KG deal where you get one young potential all-star combined with a bunch of role players.

On a team full of role players, i don't want to add more. Wait til the summer, try and get a top 5 pick and a couple pieces then contract the team so these winters arent so depressing

:whoa: nah not now.T wolves should make a minor trade to see if they can make that playoff push they're only 3.5-4 games out. After they don't for the umpteenth year in a row Love will be fed up and announce he will opt out next summer and the love sweepstakes will begin :blessed:

And this offseason boozers contract will be expiring :obama:

What corner?

Whether it's 45 losses or 70 it's all the same shyt. Aside from Horford you can't trade Love AND upgrade for the short and long term, and they'd botch a potential 5 year down the road upgrade anyway so let's not waste careers.
