Should there be buyouts for players transferring from small schools to power 5 schools?

Where is this even happening? No one is leaving Grambling to play for a P5 conference school.
Apparently they've recently lost players to schools like Wisconsin and Ole Miss.

Coach gotta just take the L, this has always been about the rich getting richer, not you.

Then I agree

yeah they are getting killed and that’s not cool tbh

If the current system was around a decade ago Butler would’ve got murdered..Hayward,Shelvin Mack,Matt Howard would’ve been outta there ..Which means butler would’ve never leveled up and the Horizon league as a whole wouldn’t have benefited at all.

Glad the players are getting paid because they should but they gotta figure something out bc right now they’re getting used and abused like a farm system without any real benefits
Coaches and schools have years to solve the problem, but chose to wait until the courts forced their hands so the complaining about the current system now comes off as sour grapes.

This current system is their own doing.

Champions league
meh let the players eat
think of all the players we loved growing up who couldn't cut it in the nba or nfl but they are legends for their college team what did they get in the end?

Nothing

now a guy can eat, a guy like braden smith will leave a purdue legend with like 5 mill in his bank account, rj davis made bank and stayed at north carolina for ever

little schools have a problem? Cut the check

lol at cinderella there was NIL when doug edert etc. made a name for themselves, NIL when boise made to the playoffs

Rutgers had ace bailey and dylan harper and did nothing.

The ones that fought hardest for the old system are the ones benefiting from the new system

Schools in the MEAC,Horizon Legaue,Big Sky and etc weren’t the ones holding the NCAA back from changing the system . They were just along for the ride..They had/have little to no say-so and those are the schools that are going to continue to be hammered with how it is currently

How can you look at a school like Bucknell and say “Yall shoulda changed the system years ago” …They’re Bucknell.

They sure as hell could have spoke up about it, yet they kept quiet and reaped the benefits at the expense of the players just like the big boys.
