They already killed and disrespected the original with those worthless straight to video sequels.

Let's be honest you can't capture the magic and charm the movie had. The music...actors....its 80s man you can't just bring it to the present.

Reboots/re imagines are not in of themselves a bad thing, a new, dark and bloody, tense 'Lost Boys' with a competent director and good script would be dope, but likely if it did happen, it would be with the same broad, clumsy, dull strokes as the Michael Bay helmed and produced array of soulless trash, like 'Friday the 13' (2009), and 'Nightmare on Elm Street' (2010), not to mention the half dozen irrelevant and garbage 'Texas Chainsaw Massacres' sequel, prequel, whatever…I'd love to see a good remake of it, because it could use an update, more blood, more tension, less tongue in cheek, if we see one, I'd guess it would be awful. The only horror remake of top I can say I liked was 'Let Me In'….

That's true. That's why I say the only way it'll work is if you make mfers HAVE TO see it. Have mfin Justin beiber, or Chris brown, or whatever mfer thats huge to teen/college kids and also a well respected actor to give it some credibility.

Cameos from Corey Feldman or Jason Patrick wouldn't hurt either.

I agree the music and the "California vibe" was a big part of it too. I say bring back some of the same music. A large portion of mfers goin to see it would be people like me who were fans of the original anyway so I'm sure there wouldn't be much complaints

Yea it would have to be better than that bay produced crap. The original lost boys had its fair amount of campyness and cheesy shyt but that was a part of its charm in the 80s. Campy shyt doesn't work like that anymore.

And the remake of let the right one in was garbage IMO compared to the foreign one

This...they need to leave the classic 80s movies the fukk alone. They already about to destroy Robocop's legacy :smh:
WHats next? Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, E.T., Bladerunner?
