Most people aren't funny.
It's just simple math.
^^^ The theory sounds plausible to me. I think ugly people have more incentive to be funny. It stands to reason that if you spend time working on being funny, you'll be better at it than someone who never felt the need to. I've come to the conclusion Its pretty evident that us humans are wired to seek social acceptance & mating opportunities whenever possible. Those who hit the genetic lottery and are very good-looking don't have to seek far beyond those assets for the win button. Others who are less physically attractive have to develop other assets or fail. There are anomalies like some attractive people are funny, and some unattractive people aren't. But if you're looking for overall patterns then this one seems a decent candidate...so yea step your 'Chappelleness' up OP
Also don't settle for anything less in life.....you'll change your mind the first time you have an ugly boss who makes more than you, is younger than you, more successful than you, has a prettier girl than you.
P.S: Staying Gucci'd down to the socks will most certainly help you squander better quality Fillet Mignon in your pursuit for decent puss.... try & get your bank account looking morbidly obese fam
