Should we be thanking Erykah Badu for Kendrick's new direction?

im saying you're acting like she should get credit for anything ... how you gonna teach a black man psychedelic music when that shyt is old ... all this bytch did was give them acid ...black people been making music like that since sunra

again breh your dancing over the statement you just made. you criticize her for the "negative" shyt but when it comes to positive its "how you gonna teach a black man..."...

i dont think anything she did was negative, I think shes overrated and just an average bytch. People act like shes doing something special when shes basically yoko ono ... she is irrelevant in the grand scheme of funk music, people are acting like she influenced funk music in some magical way. If you give her props you gotta give everyone that did psychedelic funk props that came before her .. and it would just be irrelevant ... you cant rehash something thats already popping

what is it with you and bringing up "funk music" in every post. who in here ever said she is george clinton? i'm one of the first to argue that i think she has coasted these past years with albums and has alot of talent and does not go as hard as she is capable of doing. she makes good/great music people can vibe to, who in here besides yourself is thinking about people who did "psychadelic funk before her.." your the only one thinking about that,

you seriously are saying with a straight face Badu was not an influence on LWFC or Aquemi?
