Should WWE bring back the Cruiserweight belt?

WCW had a great formula, yet they didn't have the nerve to see it through. For those of you old enough to remember, WCW Nitro built their program around the Tag Division, the US Titlte and the Cruiserweight title.

Main Eventer would headline the show and push the program with promos and backstage skits. (They didn't cannibalize their show with Main Event programs until they formed the NWO Wolfpac.)

IF the writers were competent, they'd figure out a way to unify the US & IC titles and re-introduce the Cruiserweight/LH belt. That would allow them to make Smackdown a unique program and to expand the potential of their roster.

Sadly, they won't do it, and they aren't competent enough to pull it off.

no, the creative team is too lazy.

Them having to even book a month ahead is troubling for them [allegedly] and they're happy they been having ppvs 2 weeks apart.

hell to the naw.

you people are like abused women that keep coming back for more. how many times do you want to see a failed cruiserweight division in the wwe? only time it was done right was when heyman was in charge of smackdown but even then, it was nothing mind-blowing and most of that stuff was relegated to velocity.

besides, the wwe is more accepting of smaller wrestlers than ever before. like somebody said, last thing we need is the term "cruiserweight" to hinder somebodys push.

the US title has way more traditional glory than the I-C title.

and with the roster being as big as it is, theyre gonna need to keep both the midcard belts if they want to continue cornering the wrestling market. belts help keep the talent happy.

Damn near the whole roster would be cruiserweights, so unless they plan on hiring more actual midgets then no, they shouldn't bring it back.

I say no but only because they are just getting around to pushing the mid card titles they have now in somewhat the way they are supposed to be represented. But if this was the Golden era the talent is there for a cruiser division to sign. With Neville Kidd Adam Rose Bo Dallas Primo Kalisto Kofi Cody Woods Balor Zayn Itami etc. the talent is there for them to shine if they pushed it the right way. But with the IC USA title and the NXT title being the stepping stone to your WWE debut they don't need to bring in another belt. They just need to put some of these cats in matches and let them go.
