Man fukk that...

On one hand people want the black wrestlers to be treated on the same level as the white ones, but then they say they all should be grouped together, which ultimately would create less room for them to succeed on their own.

And if they did do a new all-black crew, I'd at least want it to be something different. Why have it be a bunch of frustrated nikkas mad at the world... why couldn't it be a group with some prestige or style, like Horsemen-esque? That's something we haven't seen before.

Horsemen were compiled of cac wrestlers who were booked to have prestige already. Most of the wrestlers who are nikkaz have not been booked to have prestige so the only way it will work is if they are militant.

:beli: Ole and Arn Anderson were booked as two aggressive people who just hurt muhfukkas. Barry Windham was a good ol' boy from Texas. Lex was just a big powerful muhfukka. Brian Pillman was a high-flyer. Benoit and Malenko were straight up technicians who never even looked comfortable in a damn suit.

None of the wrestlers in the E now except for Mark were ever booked to be militant either but you'd rather see that cause it's a rehash of some shyt that worked (and was relevant) 16 years ago. If you ask me, it'd be easier to have them lookin' fresh than have a nikka like Kofi out there tryin' to be aggravated... that nikka don't even look mad when he's supposed to be.

When the Four Horseman were formed originally it was

Ric Flair who was champion
Ole and Arn who had the reputation of whipping muthafukas asses and taking names later, also were "Family" of Flair and were brought in as his "ENFORCERS"
Tully Blanchard was a former champion in Mid-Atlantic and was beefing with Steamboat
J.J. Dillion was a reputable champion in the NAW so he had a name

Also you must remember this was the time when wrestling still had territories so these dudes had a reputation already. Flair brought in the Andersons as his enforcers when he was beefing with Magnum TA, Rock and Roll Express, Road Warriors etc. so when they were injuring these dudes they got instant credibility, this was also a sort of initiation for them because the Horesemen weren't united until after they did all this damage.

Malenko and all of them that followed could be brought into the group and muthafukas not be like :stopitslime: because the Horsemen already had the PRESTIGE that you talk about, so anyone who was introduced would already have respect because the Horsemen only fukked with the best. Once you get a group to a certain point the group elevates the talent. Road Dogg was fukking hype man, Billy Gunn was a cowboy and Kidd was a damn underdog before Degeneration X and look at what happened to them.

I say have them be militant because that's the easiest way to go. You say Kofi don't look mad or can't be?

So you want these dudes to switch it up and start acting like they're A+ players or Main Event Players, swaggin out, limousine riding, jet plane riding pimps? FOH, they way they been booked it would only be right if someone came out and tried to unite these dudes (Otunga being the best person storyline wise with his lawyer background), shyt they don't even have to be militant, let Otunga be the one talking about going to court or some shyt if his "clients" don't star getting matches against the main event talent, then start letting them win some of these damn matches and, let them be elevated.

Those Nation days were probably the best time to be black wrestling fans. We marked out when that music hit and when Faarooq took that mic. :lawd:
And that's why you're gonna see these threads in TSC every few months. Dudes want to feel like that again as fans.
But nah, it isn't practical at all to bring back the Nation today. It would look watered down and weak.

lets say it does happen...who are you putting in it?

Henry
Truth
Zeke
PTP
Otunga

Not putting in Kofi, but he'd be like the Rey Mysterio of the LWO, they want him to join, he doesn't want to but they keep trying

MVP comes back

Otunga mouthpiece hired by MVP. MVP would end up being the "leader" and would surprise everyone by coming back and revealing he's the one who put the battery in Otunga's back to get the "movement" going.
