unfortunately happens every year like clockwork

dudes goes into cardiac arrest while shoveling snow and dies....usually it's a guy in late 30s or early 40s who is out of shape ...this time the guy was 65 and had no business outside shoveling

A 65-year-old Lindenhurst man died after he collapsed in his driveway while shoveling snow during Thursday's blizzard, Suffolk Police said Friday evening.

Police responded to a 911 call that came in at 3:28 p.m. regarding an unconscious male in the driveway at a home on 16th Street.

Daniel Willis, who had been shoveling snow at the time of the incident, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.

Earlier Friday, county officials said two people had died in Suffolk County while shoveling or blowing snow Thursday, but Suffolk Police Chief of Department Stuart Cameron said in statement that Willis's death was the only weather-related fatality reported to the police department Thursday.

I shovel it myself. I only need to shovel a path from the front door and the sidewalk in front of my house.

I was feeling it in my lower back this year tho :flabbynsick:.

I used to love shoveling. You get all bundled up like. " :martin: I'm sick of this shyt, its too fukking cold for this bullshyt. I'm moving this year, I aint puttin up with this shyt no more"

Then within like 2 minutes of shoveling my body is warm (from all the exercise /work) and I be like ":jbhmm:ima put all the snow from the yard into the backyard. This shyt is light work"

I like cutting my lawn too. You get to zone ou and think about shyt, but I don't just go back and forth, back and forth, I do that professional quality cut shyt so when the sun rises from the east and hits that shyt:banderas:.

I don't like scraping my windows though. That's the shyt that makes me want to move. I'm often too lazy to park in the garage. I'd rather have a half clean driveway (from where the car was parked). Then have a wet / frozen garage interior from snow and shyt dripping and falling off the car and my shoes and shyt.

Michigan police department: Challenging snow plows with your shovel will likely result in death
By Ken Haddad

The Lowell Police Department, in Kent County, posted the warning to their Facebook page Monday morning.

People people people!!!! Please do not walk out in front of a city snow plow with your shovel challenging our drivers not to plow in your driveway. 26,000 lbs of metal and salt does not stop on a dime.

If the truck doesn’t crush you and kill you instantly, the blade will dismember your body and you’ll bleed out before any help arrives.

Sorry for the graphic detail, but this is serious stuff here. I don’t like shoveling out the end of my driveway either, after I already had it done, but it’s the nature of living in Michigan.

We have someone wanting to be a Darwin Award Candidate. Not something to be proud of.

So, yeah, don't do that.
