All I'll say...the tone sure is different when it's a black woman fukking up. I don't see any comments about her betraying her race, I don't see anyone making macro level stereotypes or assumptions about black women as a whole, etc etc. She's definitely getting shat on, make no mistake, but the damage is solely on her and isn't bleeding out to people making ridiculous statements about black women.
Black people distrust the medical field for reasons that are true - exploitation, theft, experiments, etc. I don't think there's any excuse for this actress' comments given that she has the education and money to know better...but I certainly understand why many black people don't want vaccines. Of course, I hate how black people are singled out as if there isn't a way larger group of white people who will not take this vaccine (or any vaccine).
