Shyheim should've had a classic album produced by RZA in like 1999

RZA should've actually produced a whole album for him back then.

Imagine if Shyheim would've had some of these beats and beats like these to rhyme over back then:wow:

There must've been some politics going on but I never understood why Shyheim always seemed to be on the fringe with the Wu. Of course he was on some tracks here and there but I always felt like he was treated with more distance than say early Killarmy or Sunz of Man. Maybe I'm wrong though, or maybe that's just me wishing he would've had more attention from Rza and the rest of the Wu. Like you said, he should've at least had an album with all tracks from Rza, 4th, True Master.

He has Manchild. Even though it has no RZA production, it's on Wu-Records and EP'd by RZA, It's a great album. Digga did some stuff on it, the Blaqsuesmiths, Nash Mack. RZA did like 3 tracks on Greatest Story Never Told...album wasn't good though.

I think he pretty much always does he own thing. Plus, he's only close to RZA, Meth & Ghost.

Shyheim was closest to the Stapleton crew w/ GP Wu that split from early Wu-Tang stuff. That's why his first 2 albums are mostly GP Wu features and RNS production. Plus, he was signed before Wu-Tang was, so while other affiliate features are putting your people on, Shy was already established and doing his own thing mostly w/ the GP camp.

Then, as neiman said, he was put more into the core Wu for Manchild (although that album got pulled for sample clearance I believe) and was going to be on the 36 Records imprint on Loud before Loud folded (only released Killarmy's 3rd). He also changed management after album 2, so that might have been part of it as well.

Yeah I know of GP Wu, even though it's ironic that he himself hardly is on GP WU's Album.

Didn't know about the bolded :mjcry:

Shyheim has an interesting origin story that he told on Drink Champs. It seems like he was one of those kids that everybody saw the talent in early on so he was more of his own entity than he was a full fledged Wu member. He was almost like an affiliates affiliate who had the name recognition and early success that being attached to the Wu name was mutually beneficial.

Wait what? What 2nd disc :ohhh:
It was mostly just a sampler disc for the 36 Records imprint on Loud. Had Shyheim- Win, Black Knights- Killa Cal Lifestyle & Killamy- Militant & the Kardinal Offishall remix of Careful. That last part suggests it might have been available in Canada only. Only the Killarmy album came out on the 36 Records imprint & Loud folded not long after.

Plus Shyheim was on the run for like a good 2 years around that time. He once said RZA used to set up houses for him to lay low in, then put him on compilations and different tracks to put some money in his pocket. He also lived with Ghost for a while then, too.

Those floods legit robbed hip hop of several classics.

:ohlawd: the OG Inspectah Deck album that was supposed to drop in ‘95.

With modern technology is there anyway to salvage what RZA lost? …hope dies last
