I didn't get the hype as a teenager, especially being a BIG stan. It took years before I realized how nice this nikka was. I downloaded his original album (The Truth) and his word play and song making ability, especially considering his age, blew me away. Aside from the voice, lyrically, he is the closest to BIG's style I ever heard. A lot of lines he spit I could hear BIG saying, the structure of his bars, and the cadence was dead on. And he was spitting some shyt for real, listen to all the word play in the video.
