Alligator alcatraz was a money grab for DeSantis, Trump, and other high end people. They were awarded about 500 million for that project. I'm sure they got their cut off the top and hid their personal tens of millions. They new those Indians down there and the Everglades commission weren't going allow that compound to remain open .

Bruh I thought those people were going be miserable and treated harshly down there....them mexicacs living it up there lol.
They're getting the same catered food us officers were getting. All the medical attention they want. Four phones in the cell with them to call whoever, whenever they want. A/C so cold mosquitoes won't even come in the tent (it's actually too cold). And officers will get fired if they refer to them as anything other than "resident" or "guest".
On top of that, the majority of the officers are Hispanic. So they're really having a ball in there!

Naw no bonus.
It was a bag because you worked 7 days a week 12 hours a day. Basically doing nothing. It started at 26 per hour. So that's 44 hours a week in overtime.
Someone just hired at the north Florida one just told me they paid her a years salary in advance.
