He'd have less opportunities. Volume means a ton.
Boldin doesn't drop balls and makes plays in traffic. Y'all underrate him because others get targeted more but breh has consistently shown what he can do if targeted. He might not be the fastest or tallest receiver, but that nicca is a beast

This is despite him being associated with that....star team. I will defend that nikka till the end. I just don't see it though.

AJ numbers come down in the Dallas offense...seeing as how we have a hall of fame TE who's gonna catch no less than 70 balls this year...we drafted another pass catching tight end in escobar so we got to justify that pick by throwing the ball to him a ton this year...
Grisham is no slouch...but he is a LONG way from Witten catching the ball...
So yeah...AJ targets are going to come down...
AJ is also WAY less physical going for the ball than Dez...Dez redzone catch to touchdown numbers are so unbelievable because he pretty much just sodomizes whatever cornerback is on him...you borderline can't even press cover Dez...he is going to toss your cornerback on the ground without breaking stride and then you are done...
AJ game is more agility and speed based...
I've never seen AJ catch a slant and then just straight up flatten a safety and run for 30 more yards...I've never seen Dez NOT catch a slant and then NOT flatten a safety for 30 more yards...
Dez was and could legitimately still be a frightening kick and punt returner...AJ is to slight to try that with him for long

Honestly I go back n forth on Dez and AJ. I love both their games. The edge to me is the redzone. Dez is unstoppable. Just throw it up and he will catch it anywhere. I also want to see Dez with a respectable coordinator for once instead of the anchor that is Jason Garrett.Meh. Dez is probably my second favorite player in the league besides AJ. Tiebreaker could also be the fact that Dez is probably a top 2 punt returner in the league too.
Demaryius was the only Bronco to show up in the Super Bowl. He's a beast.

He's on the same level as Dez and Julio imo. Put him on the Falcons down field passing offense and he could probably lead the league in YPC.

the thing is, hes targeted a lot actually, its just Niners are run-first team so there arent that many opportunities. he was like top 5 or even top 3 in yards per route ran last season, meaning when he did run a route he got his yards
he just doesnt have speed and dudes are so biased when it comes to that. hes been an absolute godsend for us last season and hes been killer on 3rd downs.
I like Crabs a lot, but on the Niners... I havent seen the type of acrobatic catches Q made last season since Lloyd was on my squad back in the dark ages, and havent seen this physical of a WR since TO was in red and gold
