The irony of this is according to Nash, VInce was ready a couple of times to make Sid the man and take the Hogan boots so to speak and in those times he hesitated and said he'd rather be a heel

That's not true at all, sid said he was promised the hogan spot but hogan kept renegging and changing plans. When they kept doing that, he went back to wcw. Sid justice was supposed to be hogan 2.0.

I still don't get it, but the NY/New England area LOVED Sid. Dude would always get huge reactions when the WWF was having shows up there. But Sid was always just another guy in the south/WCW.
