As long a PS3 headset has bluetooth or a 3.5 mm jack, it'll work on the PS4.

The PS4 controller looks to be improved considerably with feedback taken from devs such as Bungie and fans alike. Numerous articles were written online about how good the new pad is and how much better it is than the PS3 controller.

Now in spite of all of this, you got clowns on here complaining about PS4 controller problems that's been fixed such as size and ergonomics.

That joystick placement complaint is one of the most stupidest things I've ever heard in my life pertaining to gaming. how the hell does a joystick being symmetrical hamper your play time?? Aren't your hands symmetrical?

The only reason I could see someone saying that is because the PS3 controller was smaller and therefore not as grip friendly as the Xbox. The Xbox controller since it was grip friendly made it so that your thumb naturally rested on the analog stick. People who held the DS3 tried to grip it and made it very uncomfortable for themselves. I've found letting the controller simply rest on 2-3 fingers gives your thumbs much more dexterity.
On the PS4 controller though, the controller is much bigger so that'll facilitate longer game sessions.

As for controller durability, anyone who's saying Xbox controllers are durable and last long are full of shyt. I have seen countless broken 360 controllers in my time. I've had several times where I would open them up and fix them because of how much I had laying around from other people's xbox. I only seen 1 broken PS3 controller in my time and that was because someone fukked it up by force.

I got this lil kit, but the first version that doesn't charge the blue tooth..I don't use it and my controllers are always dead. Which is my fault, but the talk of switching controllers doesn't work with multiple people over and playing. And I I'm not about to buy 3-4 controllers, id much rather get some rechargeable batteries from big lots or something cheap. But I am going to just cop a play and charge kit


On the controllers they are both ugly, I don't like the bottom of the x1, but I'm waiting until I get one in my hand before passing judgement on either. Hopefully they will have some at comic con

Thoughts?

The most important part of a controller is the thumbsticks, and the Xbox has that nice little finish on them and the deadzone in the controller is unmatched cuz of the new technology (more advanced than blu-tooth) so if gaming pricision is important to you. You know, no lag from the controller, no lag when you online? Yeah

The placement of the Start and Select buttons. On the PS4 controller its all high and isn't really easily accessable like how it is on the Xbox One controller.
The fact the PS4 still has the analog sticks side by side is another huge fail
I don't really see much "Improved" for the PS pad except that its slightly larger. The touchscreen isn't something essential to gaming imo. Not on the controller itself. Cuz then you have to choose, and if you have to choose you gonna go with which one? It doesn't really "complement" the controller like say Kinect 2.0 can and will.
