People were locked indoors and isolated for a while as prisoners of duress that were steadily basted in fear porn over an extended period that fried their minds to perfection as they drank the pain away from 8AM and spent the rest online in their pajamas being alternately scared to death and entertained with distraction. Thats by the by really and what I wanted to mention was this:

The single greatest side effect of the pandemic that most haven't realized yet but is quite obvious was the division of everything and everyone into two very clear lines. Before that there were still grey areas you could play in. After it was strictly "Oh, you don't mask? You're worse than Hitler" or "I took more shots than 50! Vitamin Water everybody, Vitamin Water" as they congratulated others who think like them. Extrapolate it to larger scale and you see the same extreme categorization now effects everything and everyone and they don't even notice it happening, just go along with it.

Very clever and slick method of trauma based programming thats for sure and once you spot it it becomes impossible to miss as its influence is everywhere now. In a sense there has been an immense downgrade in the resolution of perception within most peoples awareness and they simply don't see it because they never had a clear marker of their before level to compare due to a sheer lack of introspection.

Whereas the average person used to see in the quality of the third pic they've been downgraded to the first blur now and are missing all of the fine details:

This also ties in with the immense upsurge in emotional overacting and screeching that has become amplified to way higher levels than before as overgrown children around the world turn to their various form of Daddy for help as they point at whoever upset them with lower lip trembling and tears in their eyes.

The devolution won't be televised.... But it is being livestreamed.

I feel you…I quarantined hardcore the last year and a half…and my interactions with ppl on a day-to-day basis feel different now…it’s like folks retreated more into themselves/their internet-based ideologies

Yeah you can't be neutral on anything anymore. The average person is gonna put you with the opps if you don't agree with their viewpoint.

The kids are the real ones being affected by the current climate. You can usually slap some sense in adults who came of age pre-social media. But the youth -- they are being programmed to think in a very dangerous way. Society HAS to bend to their fantasy of what life should be like.

Props on noticing, most miss it but when you see it the downgrade is super obvious. People are shadows of themselves in terms of range and variability. Like they've had entire chunks of options and modes of freedom excised from within.

Most people didn't have that much in the first place and after they're literally a step above an automata. The resolution metaphor hits it quite well because they're seeing the same image but processing way less detail and thus responding with much broader strokes and firmly entrenched division with the "Us and Them" mentality in full effect. People have been lobotomized in a sense as there is a part of their brain missing:

Its not like that trait wasn't there before but it was no way as intense as this and its caused an almost infantile level of regression in peoples awareness/intellect that most haven't spotted:

Person A: I like mangoes.

Persona B: So you're saying that apples and oranges should be wiped off the surface of the Earth? I can't even. I'm literally shaking right now.

The single greatest effect of the pandemic was the millions of lives lost.

This is so true and reflects what I mean about resolution. The arena for discussion or contrasting views is done. Its all or none in full effect and instead of a well reasoned counter argument you get a shouting match and tantrums as way to get the point across.

Infantile regression, emotional over-reaction and looking around for others that "think" just like them as verification they're correct. Kids coming up in this are lost in the whirlwind before they even have a chance to find themselves as what was once lines in the sand that could cross and shift are now concrete barricades topped with barbed wire and patrolled night and day by gunmen who shoot to kill anyone who dares to hold different views.

Real talk I read that entire thing and had the same thought. I'm about to spark up and read it again. Maybe it'll make more sense to me then

Thats interesting, thanks for the feedback. Are you saying my way of typing isn't clear and lucid in getting the point across?

No it was just a lot. Wasn't expecting anything that deep from the title. That's not your fault
