between that acl surgery halfway through the season last year and hawks bringing in 12 receivers to camp this year he wasn't gonna make the cut.

Real talk, with what we know now about injuries/life in the league in general, I'm thinking saving up and cashing out by age 30 is the way to go in the NFL.

so why retire? since when does getting "cut" mean you're forced to retire at 27? It was Concussions... he has made his money, and has already invested in businesses, as the article stated
