Sierra Mist is probably the only poster that I consistently agree with on this board. You're lucky he's here. I've never seen anyone actually beat him in an argument. I've seen lots of anal-pained disagreement, but it usually comes in the form of ad hominem and excessive use of smileys.

You'd be well-served to pay closer attention to what he writes.

Yes he is. He seems educated. I wonder if that strikes the fear in people.

It's his sharp tone that's usually in strong contrast with their original beliefs. When people are encountered with such a pungent response to their core beliefs, they tend to bristle and freak out. Especially if the logic behind the criticism is sound. Not only are their core beliefs called out, they have a hard time continuing to justify them.
