This is silly.

It’s ok to have been a fan of someone in the past when you had no clue he was doing this behavior. The internet is weird. Diddy was a HUGE presence, to say you weren’t a fan of him or something he did during his 20+ year run and classic hit songs and albums because recently discovered transgressions seems disingenuous.

Diddy had bangers from when I was a child through my 20s. Erasing the history of what those songs did in the moment and pretending I was never a fan :stopitslime:

I never did.

I mean, I'll give him credit for the "eh eh eh eh"'s and some other adlibs he had, but I never liked his solo music.

Well, actually "I Need a Girl pt 2"with Usher was dope, and I actually like that song he had with Bryson Tiller last year. But Diddy was moreso a bystander on those.

Naw I can't cosign this.

There were always cats who didn't like Diddy cuz they were Pac Stans so I feel that.

But we not gonna sit here and act like Diddy didn't have a run in rap.

I'll say this tho....I think most of us saw him more as an entertainer/personality than anything else. Like his Making The Band show was popular and it's cuz Diddy was entertaining to watch.

I never listened to an album but he had some hits.

As I got older, I realized he wasn't a heterosexual male tho.

Never in my life did I ever think Diddy was dope. He was tolerable while BIG was alive, but anything beyond that he was always trash af. Shiny suit "era" was trash af. Bad Boy was always lame af to me.

Puff's quest for cross-over pop hits lead to the popification of hip-hop and the decline of NYC rap, and the overall loss of NYC's regional sound.

Ready to Die, LAD, Shyne, G-Dep were dope despite Puff, not b/c of him & Bad Boy

Notorious BIG MADE bad boy...

fukk Diddy

(this is in no way a diss towards NYC)
