Caved last night, even though my backlog is pretty big, and after an hour and half, I am already tired of this damn empty cabinets

It’s worth the full price.
IMO this sets the bar high for the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake especially since both OG games suffered from bad camera angles. They did an amazing job keeping the soul of the OG while making it fit with modern games.

went ahead and copped it. gotta support good remakes. Plus I never really dipped my toes into silent hill much, i think i rented it one time from blockbuster and it was fukking terrifying. played more resident evil growing up than silent hill.

My TV doesn't display dark well and it's making the apartment section harder to enjoy, but they definitely nailed the atmosphere in this. The apartment section has me on edge.

I was playing on Hard at first but switched to normal, was taking too much damage with no gun yet

If you're struggling to see stuff BEFORE you even get the gun you're gonna be screwed when you enter the Otherworld.
You might just have to live with washed out shadows and bump up the overall brightness.

Ok so Im about up to the first tutorial fight

This is one of the scariest games sonically I've ever experienced, honestly the audio is so fukking good I don't recommend playing this shyt with headphones on loud, or even on at all, If you may have anxiety problems or something like that. The sfx and the music and ambiance is nerve bending bro.

Headphones in the dark is the only way to play this
