This is why I don't mess with digital games. Gameinformer recently had a similar story.

Far Cry was put back up, but it says a lot about the possible future of digital purchases. If companies have the ability to snatch titles away from you after you paid $60 for it, what's the point of buying digital at all?
I'm not sure how it is for last gen, but IIRC, once you purchase a digital title, isn't the license forever tied to your account & Library and unable to be deleted, regardless of whether not it's visible in the store?
At least, that's how I believe Sony handles it on the PS4.
Edit:
Read the article linked and it seems that while what I said is typically the case, for whatever reason MS didn't enable gamers who bought the title digitally to launch it.
That's definitely not a good look.
