I've had to endure my daughter listening to that song multiple times a day on Nickelodeon and Disney Jr. It sucks that a song being played maybe 1000s of times in a year on 2 of the biggest networks in the world would only net the kid this much. Sham!? Depends. They created Vevo to have better control of the ad money. Second, one doesn't just upload a video to Vevo. A label with top notch distribution gets to submit videos for Vevo. Most people do not even know how Vevo works. It's an algorithm. Nothing is random in big league music industry.
