I don't disagree with his initial premise. This logic is fine when 1, 2 or 5 companies fail at the same time.

When every company fails at the same time, and when our economy is based on credit, you have a major problem.

McDowell's
the same sentiments were echoed a decade ago. but at that time we had reason to bail out companies

industries were dying and needed to be kept alive to create jobs. GM, Ford, and other companies paid their dues back

It's different this time. Chamath is talking about private equity firms and billion dollar firms that make the rich richer.

If America is really about that capitalist action, these companies should fail and die. They did the wrong things and their competitors didn't.

This you will never see these moderate and far right white people questions businesses getting socialism but they flip when every day people get it.
No universal healthcare for kids let alone all citizens , no free college tuition yet give billionaires billions brehs. How can any non-wealthy person support Republicans is my question.

Ok save some now with provisos to do the management unwind, clawbacks and corrections at a later date.

"Too big to fail" might be true of the massed companies but it is not true of the individuals who profit from them.
