because the original was based in reality. Can't fake how Con Funk Shun sang it because those lyrics had meaning to them.

this isnt a bad cover but the original has a bluesy sadness that they are completely missing. The horns and faster drums here provide a bouncy almost Latin like feel. Its good. Its solid instrumentation.

But i dont like it.

Its happy. Loves Train is not supposed to be a happy song.

IF anything thats my biggest criticism of Silk Sonic as a whole. They are making bumblegum Soul Music that lacks the pain and heartbreak of soul music of the past.

I like both and I agree, the OG is better.
