Need some more action. Something's missing. Also most problems these shows have nowadays is waiting the whole season to reveal the issue. 8 episodes is too short to do anything meaningful in most shows, but for this show episodes should be about 30 minutes.
They draggin' it, especially Juliette's story---going multiple episodes w/o her even in it & shyt. I don't know if the show runners read the books from cover to cover but they had to know pacing was potentially gonna be an issue they'd have to workaround and do a lil improvisation with.
The books are low-key the epitome of world building with potential....but not much really happening for long periods of time. They should've condensed that shyt.
The "revolt" or whatever should've been happened or at least been occurring by now. Not these mfs taking byke a few floors for a farm

I got you. I watched most of the shows off apple tv like serverance, disclaimer, dark matter, presumed innocent, black bird, hijack, lady in the lake, Defending Jacob etc. I'm probably just not a fan of space opera shows.
