Just finished watching the finale.

I will say the finale did a good job at racking up the tension of the rebellion happening and Juliet trying to get back to her Silo before catastrophe hit.

It did continue to do that annoying thing about not providing clear answers, or having characters withhold information. Especially Lukas in this case

:damn:

The ending scene definitely hooked me more. As the WHY? continues to be the most intriguing part to me of the overall story. Although I think I might have some rough ideas.

Some other thoughts....

Bernard's laugh when he thought he was in control was great :mjlol:

Juliet sticking up for Eater, or should I say Hope was nice to see :ehh:

Poor Common, always the bridesmaid it seems :pachaha:

For those who already want explanations for the final scene
This dude is the one who designed the silos unknowingly.
He becomes part of the Silo that manages all others, he's the voice that talked to Sims and Lukas
The asian reporter is his future wife, she's named Helen...that's why his alias next season would be Troy.

I finished season 2 and with no knowledge of the books it just seems like no real answers are given, and potentially the third season may go in a completely different direction

I read the synopsis of the books before I watched the show. I don’t think you’re supposed to have the answers because they don’t really come until it’s almost the end. It’s just about survival and upheaval right now.

I feel yeah, but the revolts and shyt isn't interesting enough for me to drag things out. Like I really don't give a fukk about anyone in the Silo when I think about it :skip:

So what is the consensus on season 2? Most people are saying it was boring and not much happened. I enjoyed season 1 but hesitant to continue it.

That’s how I felt during the first season. It was the second season, and getting closer to Juliette going outside, that really made me more interested

It's definitely better when you binge watch it I would say. I watched season 1 week to week and thought that was boring tbh - not enough happening in each episode to make me want to commit to it on a weekly basis.

Tried to do the weekly thing again for s2 but gave up after two eps. Let them build up to episode 9 after that and found it a lot more enjoyable as a binge watch.
