I believe a simple rule like if the ball is not in play or if ur backcourt u automatically shoot 3 ft... That's should do it..
1. You see a nikka playing leapfrog, it's a flagrant 1.
2. I wouldn't mind some sort of late game time restriction even though that still sort of rewards the bad FT shooters.

So what happens lets say if the warriors get KDTrey5. Then what. Since we wanna make rule changes for 3 people in the NBA that refuse to practice FT's enough to make them consistently. Lets make some rule changes for 3 more players

3's are entertaining. Intentional fouling off the ball is not.
Plus a rule is inherently bad if a penalty can be turned into a reward most of the time. Nobody gonna miss or even notice it when it's gone. Just foul the nikka when he gets the ball.

Nah, the NBA has zones, just that you have to be within arm length of an opposing player when you're in the paint.
The old Illegal defense meant you couldn't double anyone without the ball, which happens all the time now. It's a zone, if NBA teams were allowed to run hard zones (college style) with a dude like Gobert just standing in the key nobody would score.
