What are the odds Vince makes Shane chairmann after he croaks :lupe:

:to: sometimes I watch and say Vince is just going to steamroll his way through to the end with all the bullshyt and leave it all to Shane when he puts the Grim Reaper over. Would be the ultimate :troll: move :heh:

Vince was actually right on this one. Buying competition makes sense but it actually would've NEUTRALIZED theirn audience where ufc legitimacy gets questioned, and wwe audience won't have the story's and entertainment theyre used to with ufc...

Wwe is more successful than ufc...they pay their talent more across the board, by a huge margin.

I don't know if WWE is more successful than UFC, and I wouldn't point to their talent getting paid more as evidence, but you're right about the legitimacy questions.

There's no telling whether Shane could've made the UFC into what the Fertittas/White did either.

UFC has long passed WWE in terms of success. 10% of UFC was sold to Abu Dhabi for over a billion.

I definitely agree that the image of the UFC fixing fights would've stuck if the WWE bought it, even if they weren't doing it. Smart move for Coke Boy to not waste his money fukking it up.

It would've been in Vince's best interest to buy them out if it stops UFC's boom period from happening. It wouldn't have been good for UFC or MMA but that's not Vince's problem...buying it would've been smart.

I had a dream Shane came back as a heel to help his dad. In that same dream there were two Kanes; a psychotic Corporate Kane and a Demon Kane just along for the ride. Corporate Kane said he was going to start splitting people's heads open to see if there were other personalities inside. :mjlol: He was also dressed in a TSA uniform. :skip: Drink before bed brehs.

I still don't get why people think Shane is some brilliant mind that could save the day....
People have this weird perception of Shane

He was a great performer but by all accounts wasn't cut to head the company, he certainly isn't the savior they think he is

Shane, unlike most of the WWE was on top of the trends in society, this story is a perfect example, he knew MMA had the potential to be big time attraction. In retrospect, I'm not sure Shane running it under the WWE umbrella would've made that happen.
