In more important news, Cousins dropped 35/9/6/6/3 on 10/21 FG, 10/10 FT and 5/10 3PT tonight.

Cousins is in his 8th season, he's def been an absolute fukking monster this season and he's been a stud throughout his career no doubt, but he averages 21 and 10 for his career on 32 mpg. Embiid is still technically in the midst of his 1st full season (still less than 40 games played for his career and less than a decade actually playing the sport) and he's averaging 20 and 8 for his career on 25 mpg.

Simmons is incredible. Ive never seen a rookie that comfortable. Hes easily their best player

I agree with him being the most comfortable rookie I've ever seen also. He looks like a 3rd or 4th year guy who everything is just clicking for, but he's not easily their best player. Don't forget he's also averaging 10 more minutes per game than Embiid right now. Embiid is 7'2" and can score from literally anywhere on the floor. He's the most natural scorer in the post I've personally ever seen (not the best yet, but the most naturally gifted). And he affects the game on the defensive end as much as anyone in the league.

shyt matter of fact, if Cleveland does just straight up tank (which is a viable option) and decides to look towards the future, they should say fukk the nba and pay Hinkie. Give him two top 5 picks and whatever they can get from trading LeBron and he’ll have them looking legit

I think Hinkie's blackballed on the low. His NBA 2k style of blatant unabashed tanking actually made the NBA change the lottery system.

Nah that man is CERTAINLY blacc balled. That’s why the league pushed the embarrassing images of the 6ers so heavy like there wasn’t other franchises doing almost as pathetic without tanking. If Hinkie got probably one more year out, he would’ve flipped Oak and Noel for real talent/picks and probably would’ve got somebody better suited than Fultz. His draft IQ was pretty fukking high too. League basically slapped Philly in the face with this retarded fukk Colangelo running the scenes.

About to be a real problem. Looks like Jo Jo's legs are finally getting under him as well.

Tonight:

Ben Simmons: 19 PTS, 13 REBS, 9 ASTS, 2 STLS

Joel Embiid: 21 PTS, 12 REBS, 6 ASTS, 3 STLS, 3 BLKS

Long live the process.

They are a perfect duo. Their games mesh well together. They still have one piece missing before they can be a legit contender. Neither Simmons or Embiid are closers. In close games down the stretch they will struggle to score because Simmons isn't a scorer and Embiid is a big who can be easily doubled in the clutch.

What they need is an athletic 2-guard who can score the ball off the dribble, shoot the 3-ball, and create his own shot. We know Fultz isn't that. He's an epic bust. The perfect fit for them would be a guy like Zach LaVine.

If you paired LaVine with Simmons and Embiid, you would have the next great NBA dynasty.

He played a horrible game. I watched all 48 minutes. The Pelicans are absolute trash because Cousins and Davis are playing only for stats. Timberwolves played a pathetic game and still won the game with relative ease.

Demarcus Cousins is a cancerous player. And Anthony Davis is extremely overrated. His game has no impact on winning.

big if is on Joel staying healthy, but the boys looking spooky.

They still need one more piece. A 2-guard who can score off the dribble, create his own shot, and shoot the 3-ball. On the low end, a guy like Lou Williams would be an ideal piece to have coming off the bench. On the high end, I would love to see them try to get Zach LaVine from Chicago once he's fully healthy. He would be the ideal player to pair alongside Simmons and Embiid.

LaVine + Simmons + Embiid = DYNASTY

No. Their best player is Embiid by far. And I would argue Embiid is the best player in the entire league. Once he starts playing 35 minutes per game, it'll be a wrap.

Simmons is too passive to be the best player on the team. He'll never score enough to be that. And Embiid looks like a future 28-30 PPG scorer.

Plus you gotta remember Simmons is already 21 years old. He was drafted into the league kinda old for a freshmen at 20 years old. And then he sat out of all last season. So he's really a 3rd year player when you take into account his age and the fact he sat out all of last year. His production should be expected.

Start watching the games rather than just looking at the box scores afterwards.

Cousins is an absolutely terrible basketball player. There is a reason his teams never win. HIM.

Its stupid to compare him to the best player in the NBA (Joel Embiid).

Lavine? Come on now.

Fultz is the guy they drafted for that role, and if his shoulder gets better, he can do it

Zach LaVine is worlds better than that scrub Fultz. If the Sixers are smart they would trade Fultz and the Lakers pick to the Bulls for LaVine.

That move would make the Sixers NBA Champions by 2020.

now imagine if that wasn't an incompetent gm like collangelo but someone else who knows how to make trades, they would flip noel and okafor into some good valuable piece instead
