that particular corner is wild dangerous...used to have a shorty near there...it was a hangout for the hookers/pimps and pushers of the motel across the street. always stood away from that shyt. RIP to that deli man.

A young Silky had some good times at El Roacho .

$25 got you a room for 4 hours with no ID:mjgrin:

That block is/wasn't all that wild considering the rest of the fukkery that went down on The Road between Gun Hill and 241st :manny:

Grew up and was raised on 241, and 219th.

My peoples got houses on 240th, 222, 214th

That strip from 241 to gunhill was never super wild compared to other parts of the BX.

I'm 33 and Jamaican, and my family and friends moved a ton of work in them areas in the 90's and early 2000s

"Come home with me
Where grandmothers is thirty....."

Clocks run faster in places like the BX.

RIP to the bodega owner.

I'm a little older than you bredrin. Before the feds put the whole hood under secret indictment it was wild. Especially during the pre 9/11 era.

The first time I went into a liquor store where you can actually pick up the bottle was in SC
