Seriously it's like Christina Yang and Burke. Or Avery and his new wife. Or the multiple couples in that show FlashForward etc etc

On TV romance, ethnicity has become irrelevant, unless the show is about the obstacles they had to overcome so they keep bringing it up.

I don't know why Scandal gets so much crap for this. When I'm watching it I don't think of it as a black woman and a white man. It's Olivia who doesn't realise Jake is so much better for her and Fitz who makes promises to Liv which he can't keep etc

They're just people, skin colour is irrelevant in that show.

If we are ignoring all the other shows with such relationships and focusing only on Scandal then yes, at first I thought the scandal was the affair but then now you realise it's B6-13 LMAOOOOO at having this discussion but yeah.


Oh and Milly and her father in-law the baby....so yeah all in all the fact that Olivia is black and the president is white is pretty much irrelevant. Everyone is either having an affair or plotting to have someone killed. You forget skin colour, at least I do.

It goes both ways. There's another show called Hart of Dixie, black guy acts as mayor, goes out with this white girl and another one before that. One of the girls from that show Girlfriends does a little appearance.

And the show is actually set in some town in the south I'm guessing, they have that Texas-y accent.


The days of type casting black guys and gals are way WAY over. Get with the times Coli brethren/sistren.
