It depends on whether you gave me a nickel or 5 pennies.

How?:jbhmm:

EDIT: I should add that you are correct.

initially I was calculating possibilities for the second to fourth number then filling in the balance as the first number. got too many answers. 6 actually. then when I looked at the wording for clues it said starting with the second number it was a quarter of the former so the first one was four times the second one. starting with the smallest lets name it X

the sequence would be
X...4X..16X..64X.. as far as value relative to the smallest one.

total is 85X= 128 so X = 1.50588 based off division.
1.50588... 6.0235...24.094...96.37.. approximate values..

I'm good with puzzle shyt. high IQ and what not

Common denominators. (x)+(x/4)+(x/16)+(x/64)=128

You nikkas know that we can google shyt right?

A better question would be to "prove that you are smart in one post?"

If you have 1 dollar's worth of pennies, then i give you five more cents, how many pennies do you have?
Fun, easy questions? :gladbron:Four numbers sum to 128. Starting with the second number, each number is one fourth of the prior. Give the value of the smallest number.
