If you have 1 dollar's worth of pennies, then i give you five more cents, how many pennies do you have?
I have 5 cents and hopefully zero pennies. I bought something for 95 cents from your store. Get a better job! Lol.

Edit: im trolling. My true answer is 0. I have a dollar and a nickel. Don't really care if I'm wrong but interested in the solution.

what do you mean 'between' such n such?

I've scored both depending on my effort. so one to me i consider a ceiling and the other the floor. and I find those tests arbitrary anyway but as you saw I can solve random shyt if I try. If I do another test ( which is pointless I'd have another new reference point)

initially I was calculating possibilities for the second to fourth number then filling in the balance as the first number. got too many answers. 6 actually. then when I looked at the wording for clues it said starting with the second number it was a quarter of the former so the first one was four times the second one. starting with the smallest lets name it X

the sequence would be
X...4X..16X..64X.. as far as value relative to the smallest one.

total is 85X= 128 so X = 1.50588 based off division.
1.50588... 6.0235...24.094...96.37.. approximate values..

I'm good with puzzle shyt. high IQ and what not
Wait, is this related to the word problem in the OP? If so, how did you get all this from a two sentence question? Be as descript as you can.

Nah not Ops question.. the other one that was posted here about sum of four numbers is 128. starting with the second number each is one fourth of previous number
