I dont really have trouble cooking them, but pancakes are something you have to cook to perfection for them to be good.

Sometimes i want them fluffy, then other times, i'd want them with a slight crunch on the edges. It's almost like youre lightweight frying them

Porridge :stopitslime:

Always too thick.

How does momma do it :mjcry:

think you're probably not putting enough water in.
i know people make and take it different ways but i was always shown to do it like

puts a cup of the oats in the pot and the same cup used to put the oats in, puts two to three cups of water in the pot..then add salt....let it cook, once it starts cooking and in-between stirring it you'll see what the salt does, it adds a coating, scrape it off and toss it...stir again..once its ready, put it in your bowl..sprinkle a tiny amount of sugar on it..add milk and then some more sugar and it's...

:wow:

the nice mix of the salt the sugar and the mix all warm.
used get it made like that every morning before school or before i had a game on a sunday.

now as an adult, i'm decent at it myself but i still can't make it as good as my grandmother :mjcry:

I always fukk up rice

Come on bruh

Let the water boil then add the rice. As soon as the rice is in the pot then turn the stove off and take the pot off the heat.

Stir once then cover it for the time depending on how much rice you're cooking.
