This is what was pissing me off when CTG said that shyt and then Envy acting like he too young to remember Sinbad. We about the same age and I know this nikka was watching A Different World back then hell everyone was. Talking about his parents knew his comedy....GTFO. Sinbad's comedy is not that old. He had his run from about 87-93. He even had The Sinbad Show on Fox.

Agreed...Envy's an idiot and that's disrespectful what he said to him. And yeah I'm younger than Envy and I know damn well who Sinbad is and watched a different world every week.

Sinbad was eloquent and dropped a lot of knowledge, way better guest than their average brain dead leaned out zombies that mumble about nothing and speak 4 word sentences.

Yea shyt was annoying me as well, I'm 30 years old and I grew up on Sinbad, this nikka is 37 years old there ain't no way he miss out when Sinbad was popular unless his fam didn't allow a TV in the house.

I could see where Envy was comin from about the younger demographic not being familiar with Sinbad or other entertainers that haven't been mega popular in some years, but I think that's not giving the audience enough credit. Breakfast Club has a large base of viewers/listeners. Some are in that 16-24 age range. But we have multiple generations of people in Hip Hop now and they all should be catered to also.

That was a good interview. Sinbads a funny dude. He dropped some gems.

It's too bad that even black networks are turning down a rebooted version of a different world. I don't see why a well written new version of ADW won't flourish. But hey I guess a show like that would be too positive and would have too many black people wanting to go to college can't have that :beli:
That's why they took College Hill off the airwaves. Too many nikkas went to college because of that show. BET is here to destroy us not to help us.

Man I feel fortunate that I was able to grow up seein Sinbad, Wayans bros, ParentHood, Jamie Foxx & all the other black excellence in TV. Black Kids these days have nothin positive on tv to relate to and its sad. Not sayin that tv was perfrect then but at least we had some choices. im 25 btw so I think Envy was being naive to think that the younger generation wasnt familiar with Sinbad, but I salute them for bringin him up there.
