WWF Attitude was the worst wrestling game I ever played still mad I made my pops get that one

Attitude is the poster child for a game that was great for the time. I played it all day every day as a kid, but now I'll hit the quit option 2 minutes into the match.

Bad controls make for a bad game regardless of all other positives

IMO the controls weren't bad, it was the movement and hit detection that fukked everything up. My whole point is that 2K20 had about quadruple the budget Acclaim received, and look at how glitched out that game was. Meanwhile Acclaim was working with a shoestring budget and made a game that had some good things in it. Being able to wrestle in Texas Stadium and the Philadelphia Spectrum is just

Being able to wrestle in actual licensed arenas was dope. Always wonder why the Smackdown/2k series never implemented that
