Tax the working class more? We know for damn sure they aint gonna tax the wealthy or maybe they'll tax each A.I. position as a human worker? Companies would still make out better financially bc they wont be paying salaries.

You need food. You need clothing. You need medicine. Guess what? All that shyt costs money and at some point in the production chain, foreign hands have touched those things. A tariff ensures that the government gets a cut and companies raise prices on those things. Government will probably put higher taxes on items for sale too.
Theyre testing the waters by putting those tariffs on everyone including allies to get them use to how things are going to be from now on.
The logical end of all of this is that the social safety net is destroyed, and the entire economy is essentially billionaires gambling with each other's money via stock markets, actual betting platforms (like kalshi), cryptocurrency, and real estate prices. They will probably introduce some sort of public internet option though because they know as long as people can scream into the online void, they will continue to let shyt slide. It's digital opium and a slot machine in your hands.

Trump shut down is showing you exactly how it's going to work. They will cut services. It's not eeven our big military budget, but it's the social services that take up most of the tax dollars. 60% of the federal budget is just social services rranging from Medicare to Medicaid to snap to social security, to the health and human services subsidies

As it stands the top 10% already generates 72% of government revenue. And most of them don't get wealthy by doing work but instead get wealthy from their aassets appreciating, so in theory they don't need to sell any products to the poors. Thus they don't need to cut very much for the government to keep running. In theory if they turned off all the social subsidies the government budget would be net positive, with all deficits disappearing overnight.
Previously I thought they would at least do what the Romans did by giving us bread and circuses, but it seems the Romans were more humane than our modern billionaires. And the poor Trump Republicans are showing you that society will just accept it.

Sometimes we wonder how countries like North Korea can suppress tens of millions of people. We are seeing it right now with these Republican states, where their leaders are actively making their lives worse but their people keep supporting them.

Biggest problem is no safeguards. People like Andrew Yang warned about this for nearly 10 years now. Not saying dude should’ve been President, but the fact nobody took his concerns seriously in 2015-2016 is coming back around. The fact a significant amount of people were laid off already due to “A.I” (LLM’s) already validates those concerns. It’s already removed hundreds of billions of dollars from the market/economy, trillions soon.
A lot of progress over a small amount of time which was why it was so important to address it when he was actively talking about UBI for years. Now it’s a race to get in front of an exponential curve with a bunch of bought out politicians who’ll impede human decency.

They all need to be taxed into oblivion. Any company that replaces workers with automation should pay more. Any AI company with a small amount of employees compared to revenue or market cap should pay more in taxes.
