What’s overrated about him? That nikka is underrated if anything. Because he played in the era of the shooting guard he never gets the credit for the type of beast he really was.

I mean yea you have a point and all but dude a pure shooting/scoring guard. They used their point guards to handle and set up alot more than nowadays. When he got to Seattle he refined those skills basically out of necessity because the Sonics were running Luke Ridnour out there...but he became one of the best playmaking 2s in the game and was scoring and creating for himself substantially more.

Put him in todays NBA where scoring guards have to develop their playmaking skills and handle and watch him flourish. He already had those skills naturally. He’d develop them to a higher level much faster.

Look at Brad Beal...look at how much he’s developed his skills...you can’t tell me he’s more talented than Ray.
