Biden and Sanders lead new poll of 2020 Democrats. But it’s still super early.

Twenty-nine percent of voters who say they are likely to vote in a Democratic primary in 2020 say they prefer Biden, followed by 22 percent who say Sanders, 13 percent who say Harris, 8 percent who say Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), 7 percent who say former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke, 5 percent who say Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), and 3 percent who say Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN).

Among the top five candidates — Biden, Sanders, Harris, Warren, and O’Rourke — Biden’s supporters are the oldest, with an average age of 52, and Sanders’s are the youngest, averaging 41. Forty-four percent of Sanders supporters are under the age of 30, while 30 percent of Biden’s are over the age of 65.

Sanders and O’Rourke have more male voter coalitions. Harris led the others in black voters (28 percent of her supporters) and college-educated voters (50 percent). Warren led the group in women supporters.

Stand for nothing, fall for anything, breh. Explain how voting third party or not trusting a backpedaling prosecutor with a shyt record equates to supporting anything trump stands for in any form.

Malcolm would slap the taste off your frail lips if he was around to do so.

If you have a chance to decrease Donald Trump's chances of being elected and you don't than that is tacit support of what he stands for.

The expected value of voting third party is 0, so why even waste the time to vote?

Ya'll really have to level up your thought process. Being disatisfied with what's being offered is not a vote for the enemy.

You can't possibly be talking like this in real life unless you surround yourselves with people as simple as you are.....you probably do though

The expected value of voting third party is 0, so why not just stay at home? You really going to wait in line to have literally no impact on history and to avoid doing your civic duty by making a hard choice?

My civic duty is to fight to put the best candidate in office, not to roll over and choose a lesser of two poisons and Kamala is a terrible person. I'd be willing to vote dem if they put forth a reasonable candidate. As it stands, voting for a prosecutor, especially one with her track record, is a big no from me. Sorry to break it to you, but change does not come without sacrifice.Voting progressive third party shows the dems that they are going to lose voters by continuing to prop up these shoddy choices. This is in no way tacit support of trump and his policies. This is a fight for a better future by demanding more from the democratic party. If anything your vote to continue with being complacent with this colonialist system is just a bad of a look as somebody that's trying to shift it to the right by voting for trump, because these dems are going farther and farther in that same direction with every new election. So no, I will not "stay home" and yes I will vote in a way that my conscience is clear knowing that I stood for something rather than bending over for the same old bullshyt.

If no one comes with a tangible black agenda then no vote, it's very simple. Malcolm X tried to explain and in 2019 some of you still don't get it and resort to tired, redundant shaming tactics. Get your money up so you're not at the mercy of these corrupt a$$holes.
shyt, why even lie about a black agenda when they'll just vote for you anyway?

Saying that we have been blindly voting for democrat, just shows you are unaware of the policies that democratic politicians have been supporting over the years that directly overlap with policies that would affect us in positive ways.
democrats have done 0 to put the folks who built this country in a position to truly succeed

They have definitely been putting in work to do so. It's the conservatives and their voter base that have thwarted the movement. Not sure why y'all love ignoring this.

I’d vote for Kamala’s fake ass if it’s came down to it just like I did for Hillary. Prominent progressives are pushing democrats like her more left so as long as the dems win, I would probably be content. I’m honestly not sure who I’d support in the primary so far. First time it’s ever been this wide open for me personally.

So you believe in universal healthcare but would rather see Trump in office, who is vehemently against single payer health care, instead of giving the chance to someone who has co-sponsored the medicare for all bill with Bernie Sanders?

How is that a good strategy? Make that make sense.

Kamala is a fuking fraud and fake progressive. I will not reward her with my vote like a good Democratic negro until she convinces me she is sincere in

1. addressing black folks needs specifically

2. truly believes in these progressive policies she is jumping on the bandwagon of

Stop trying to shame nikkas into voting for a woman who has been Center Right if not outright Rightwing her entire career but now she wants to black it up and be more socialist than Bernie Sanders.

You said that universal health care and funding for HBCUs would help black people specifically, two things that she has come out for by going so far as writing and co-sponsoring bills to do both.

Seems like you're confused. Why are you not willing to vote for a someone who wants to move forward on issues you care about just because they're positions on those issues have evolved over time? Especially if the alternative is someone who is actively against these same issues you care about?

How is that a good strategy?
