Says a Nintendo Stan

games need to offer some challenge

And we should take your opinion more seriously as a known Nintendo hater?

Modern Nintendo games aren’t known for their difficulty but there are a few such as,
Bayonetta 2, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 + Torna, Astral Chain, and Breath of the Wild can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be.

There's no need for them to have a challenge from the beginning. That's not what a large majority of their consumers want. They usually get a challenge in there for ppl who want it. Like Odyssey's post-game.

BOTW wasn't "easy" from jump tho

Only TF counts ands that’s 1 game in 20 years

I’m not a Nintendo hater, the video game world should be more critical of them

Lack of challenge is the problem with most Nintendo games.

I understand the idea of accessibility and fun mechanics, but I personally need a good challenge to feel fulfilled. For example Mario odyssey spends dozens of hours teaching you the mechanics, but never actually challenges you to use them in any interesting or meaningful way.

End of the game I ultimately felt like meh. Fun game but nothing memorable or worth playing again.

Mindlessly easy with no story damn sure ain’t fun either

you need a decent challenge in video games

for decades Nintendo formula has been make the same rehashed game with no challenge unless it’s secrets and post game

You're talking like if Nintendo games provide no challenge, but that only proves you don't play Nintendo games to form that opinion.

You here acting like this is a problem with Nintendo games is comical because Nintendo is a kids gaming system. Always has been. Mortal kombat was censored for a reason

Today's Nintendo still caters to kids even tho some adults swear by it in between episodes of naruto

Nintendo caters to kids but their biggest customers are adults that love Nintendo and want their kids to grow up on Nintendo like they did

it’s still no excuse for Nintendo to make the same exact games the same way for decades. The only game they’re ambitious with is Zelda
