They've been doing it at least since the late 90's/early 2000's. I remember hearing Stone Cold, Hardy Boyz and even Hardcore Holly's themes at games.

I went to an Astros game in Houston earlier this week, and they randomly showed a cartoon image of Ric Flair on the jumbotron & had the entire stadium start woo'ing. It was incredibly random since the shyt happened in like the 5th inning & as far as I know, Ric Flair has no connection to Houston

in watch dogs 2 there's a mission where you break into a bike gang's compound. the fukking biker gang was blasting those 2 themes.
