Doesn't really matter. Im getting the movies i want off amazon. I don't like having a bunch of movie/game cases lying around. They are nice options but i rather gaming be the main focus

Apparently after September 7th millions of people stream 4K bluray on their Sony X4D39899 HDR 4K UHD.
Typical console people 4k streaming is not the same as the actual disk smh. Compression network speeds etc...

Alot of people bought a ps3 just for the simple fact that it had a top notch blu ray player attached to it too but I guess I understand the streaming aspect as well. Obviously people like the option because I'm assuming pthose who already bought a one didn't just get an s for minor graphical enhancements.
I'll bet that the majority of people who bought a S don't even have a 4K TV.

well something needs to push the tech. otherwise there is no reason to upgrade
the problem is a lot of this stuff isn't seen as a significant upgrade to the average consumer. DVD's were a significant upgrade from VHS (same with CD's and cassettes). flat screen TV's were a significant upgrade from tube-TV's. but blu-rays, 4K blu-rays, and 4K TV's just look 'slightly better' (again, the perception of the average consumer), and that's not enough to get some people to spend a bunch of money on these things
