I haven’t kept up with ALC since the classic Covert Coup he did with Currensy.

Let me know some projects to check out and/or can y’all post some tracks in here from YouTube?

I’ve heard of Griselda and Boldy James, Westside Gunn, but haven’t listened.

I heard ALC doesn’t use drums anymore :dwillhuh:

Listen to all his new stuff from the last few years.

Alchemist is dope... all time better than Hit Boy, and he's made great tracks with Nas(rich nikkas, No ideas original, let em hang, my way, book of rhymes, etc) but Hit Boy for some reason has Nas inspired right now. And it's led 2 decent(Magic 2, KD1), a good(KD2) and 2 great albums(Magic, KD3).
I’m not mad at Nas for getting in a groove and working exclusively with Hit-Boy. It’s just as fans we are not Nas hating to say, we as fans of other producers, would like to hear Nas over some different production after a 5 album run with the same producer.

Alchemist does a lot of grimy, dusty, off beat productions that Nas wouldn’t ever rhyme over but some beats like the one I posted would be perfect backdrops for Nas :hubie: I do think a lot of Nas fans over the years have criticized his beat selections.
